Spanair considers Flying from Madrid to Panama

Panama’s geographic position combined with the convenience of Tocumen International Airport, have caught the attention of Spanish airline Spanair. The airline is looking to begin flights to Central America, specifically looking for a hub country from which passengers will make connections.

Spanair executives met Panamanian officials during the Tourism Fair in Barcelona, where Spanair is headquartered. Representatives agreed that Panama would schedule a meeting, discussing the possibility of establishing a code sharing agreement.
